Cleaning policies and how to prepare for your visit
Clear preparation helps the cleaner complete the confirmed checklist safely. These policies explain access, pets, utilities, clutter, property condition, schedule changes, and payment.
Before your appointment
Provide accurate home details and required photos. Clear enough surface and floor space for the booked tasks. Identify fragile, damaged, specialty, or no-clean items. Finish moving or construction work when the service requires an empty or ready property.
Access, pets, and property conditions
Access and lockouts
Provide a working key, code, host contact, or other approved access method, kept current and secure. If our cleaner cannot get in, they wait 30 minutes. If we still cannot access the property, the visit is treated as a same-day cancellation and the $100 fee applies.
Pets
Tell us about pets before the visit and secure any animal that may escape, feel stressed, or make the work unsafe. Our cleaners do not feed pets and do not handle litter trays or pet waste — we clean around them. If a room is set aside for a pet, tell us and we will leave it alone.
Water, electricity, and parking
Working water and electricity must be available when required. Provide parking, gate, elevator, and building instructions during intake.
Clutter and accessible areas
Cleaners work on reasonably accessible surfaces and floors included in the checklist. Heavy clutter, personal items, blocked rooms, or unsafe lifting may limit the work.
Fragile and specialty surfaces
Point out fragile items, existing damage, loose fixtures, worn finishes, and specialty surfaces. Cleaners will not test an aggressive product or method when damage is reasonably possible.
Scope changes and mismatched conditions
If the property materially differs from the booking information, the cleaner documents the issue and contacts the office before affected work. Cleaners do not negotiate price at the property.
Pests, biohazards, mold, and unsafe conditions
We may stop or decline affected work when active pests, pest waste, bodily fluids, needles, biohazards, mold concerns, unsafe structural conditions, weapons, illegal activity, aggressive behavior, or hazardous material are present.
- The final policy must define escalation and cancellation rules
Rescheduling, cancellations, skips, and late changes
The final policy will state the required notice, fees, recurring-schedule effect, weather or emergency rules, and what happens when you or the company cancels. One clear policy applies across the website, quote, CRM, and reminders.
Payment and tips
Payment is due the day after service, charged to the card on file through Stripe. There is no deposit, and Nevada does not apply sales tax to cleaning services — the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Tips are always optional and never expected.
Photos and privacy in the home
We will explain when intake, completion, exception, damage, or guarantee photos may be taken, who can see them, how long they are stored, and whether separate permission is required for marketing use. Service documentation permission is not marketing permission.
Move-out and Airbnb rules
Move-out clients should finish moving and repairs before cleaning. Airbnb hosts must provide authorized access, real turnover times, and defined linen and supply duties.
Frequently asked questions
What should I do with clutter?
Clear enough space for the booked tasks. Cleaners may work around light everyday items, but blocked surfaces and floors may remain uncleaned and may be excluded from the guarantee.
What happens if the home looks different from the photos?
The cleaner may pause affected work and contact the office. The service may be rescoped, repriced, limited, moved, or canceled under the final policy.
Can the cleaner move heavy furniture?
We do not promise heavy furniture moving. The final weight, safety, and two-person rule publishes after operations approves it.
Do you clean litter boxes or feed pets?
No. Our cleaners do not feed pets or handle litter trays and pet waste. We clean around them, and we will work around a room set aside for a pet if you let us know.
Can service continue if pests are present?
Active pests or pest waste can create a health and safety risk. Affected work may stop until the condition is professionally addressed.
